2017/18 Turtle Season Summary
In February we concluded our first EVER season of Turtle Conservation Internships! There is very little known about sea turtle populations in Papua New Guinea. Our aims for the 2017/18 turtle nesting season were to create a baseline dataset on the population of nesting green and hawksbill turtles at the Conflict Islands and subsequently to create a long-term yearly comparison of sea turtle populations at the Conflict Islands.
